Objectives of the Association

To promote and further the interests of the Navigator, Venturer and other Newbridge classes including Pioneer, Virgo Voyager, Eclipse and Topaz.

To represent the interests of the owners of these classes.

Membership of NAVA provides:-

Year Book  – listing boat and members details.

Single Newsletter- packed full of articles and information, members sailing experiences, reports on rallies and other social events, notes on technical modifications and maintenance, tips on sailing and improving performance, details of specialist suppliers (and occasional special offers), members advertising boats and/or gear for sale etc. etc.

Weekend Rallies - held in harbours such as Chichester, Bembridge, Cowes, Poole, and in Torbay and the River Dart, featuring a communal evening meal, usually ashore. These are generally very well supported (by land as well as sea) with members enjoying the opportunity to admire each others boats and share information. Other venues can be arranged, for example in the past rallies have been held in Norfolk and at Conwy depending on members sailing areas.

Shore-based social events - such as Regional Laying-up lunches held at various venues around the coast and the Annual General Meeting (and lunch) held in March.

Access to the Members Section (uk residents) of the NAVA Website which contains an increasing resource of technical information, members details and past Newsletters and meetings.

Recourse to advice and information from Association Officers and members, including the Technical team and other members with the same type of boat, rig, keel or motor.

Right to fly the NAVA pennant.
